Guest guest
I did post a reply yesterday about the Cooksons report that Butch posted, but it has not shown up on this group. Cooksons are big time essential oil dealers. In such cases anything they say should be taken with a pinch of salt. I have seen messages on their web site previously where they claimed hundreds of years worth of rosewood trees were available in South America. Almost everything they said flew in the face of everything the conservation movement recognise as well as well respected International organisations. Anyone that believes everything a trader of any kind tells them must be looking through rose tinted glasses. The name of the game with most big essential oil traders is to sell anything they can anyhow they can. By big I do not mean aromatherapy suppliers who are by and large small fry compared to the big boys. It is the big wholesalers who lie to small aromatherapy outfits and then they in turn pass those lies on to their customers. There has been more on the rosewood oil issue posted on ATFE and I will see if it can be reposted here. Martin Watt
