Sorry Gea, it just slammed right into my funny bone. Diffuse your stinky crap

all over the place and keep the kids away from him...

Hey Gea,

Been snowing here all day .. colder'n a landlord's heart .. office not

as warm as we want it .. gummit bureaucrats being typical assholes .. I

been in a terrible mood. BUT .. when I read your description of events

I had a friggin belly laugh .. was the best moment of my day. :-P

So .. thankee Its dang near one in the morning .. too slick to drive so

I'm taking off early, walking home and gonna read a bit. Whilst I'm

walking folks probably gonna think I'm nuts .. gonna wonder why I'm

chuckling .. its all your fault Gea. ;-p Y'all keep smiling. Butch

Ah, flu season! :) I was exposed to strep in early December and started

to feel a little scratch in my throat a couple of days later. So I began

taking megadoses of vitamin C (10,000-12,000 mg a day) plus grapefruit seed

extract in my juice. Also a daily immunity tonic with garlic, ginger, honey,

lemon and cayenne. (I can post a recipe, if you want it.) I ended up getting

a slight cold that lasted less than a week, but nothing more.

In other news.... my finger is getting better. (Cut *myself* instead of the

dang winter squash...) Got my stitches out today. But the doctor says to

wrap it for five more days and be careful as I begin moving it again, since

the cut goes right across the joint and it could still open up again. (The

joint nearest the end of my finger.)

My question: is it too soon to begin using my scar treatment oil? (rosehip

seed, heli, and other stuff -- thanks for the recs on ingredients, Butch and

all!) Do I need to wait until it's all scabbed over and really sealed? I

don't want to risk developing sensitivity to EO's, but I don't want to wait

too long and be stuck with a scar, either.... (I do commercials

occasionally and need to be able to have a camera close-up on my hand!) What

say you??

And last, but not least, Merry Christmas to all of you!!!!! Golden

retrievers Ruby and Kody send wags and kisses to Mundo, Fiona, and all the

other furkids on the list!
