Guest guest
Yesterday me and my youngest son went with a friend and her dogcrazed doughter to Stockholm International Dog Show (also called Stora Stockholm = Big Stockholm). It's a huge show (from Swedish point of view) round 7000 dog participated and we saw a lot of breeds i never seen before. They have these neat " dog square " where different breed clubs had dogs on display and to pet and give out information on " their " breed. Ohh, there are so many lovely, wonderful, nice and wise dogs out there :-) Hmmm, and some breeds I realy don't udnerstand the need for or can see anything lovable about. John was so very good with the ones he met, even huge bull mastiffs that was larger tha he is, couldn't ruffle his feathers. Quite many seemed to love him after one little sniff. When we got to the Ridgeback ring, we met a lot of RR friends and John shared the last of his icecream cone, with one of Fionas obedience class friends - Bamba. I also met the most wonderful RR male I have ever seen, named Spirit. He had the most beautiful head, very wise eyes and was as calm and unruffled as a dog can be. Don't ask why I didn't take his picture, I guess I was so fascinated with him that I was lost :-D When we got to the trainstation and waited for our train home, I asked John which kind of dog he liked the most, and he answered " the ones that looks like Fiona " . I couldn't agree more, in my eyes and mind, RR are the most wonderful breed in the whole wide world :-D Fragrant Blessings, Ylva
