Guest guest
Okay, I got a note from butch this morning, I don't have his permission to pass this on but as he's not here, he'll never know! PHHHTTTTTTT! This is part of what he wrote: Naa .. not ignoring anybody .. and I signed off the list only because I need to take a break from the aromatherapy community for a while. I'm still into essential oils as much as ever .. but need to take more time for myself and that means cutting back on lists for a while. Butch So go ahead, write and nag... and go ahead and tell on me! Also tell him that I thought you guys should have SOME explaination ;-) K Cheers! Guest guest
Chris, can you give us more of a clue as to what happened, if we all sent him emails telling him what he means to us, do you think that would work? Carol

Guest guest
Maybe we could flood him so bad, he will want to get back sooner. LOL Have fun with the baby. I have been trying to clean, but can't keep away from the mail. We will go out for dinner soon though. Guest guest
Butch has been a little stressed out recently, between work (especially with the holiday rush), current events, and in general having lots on his plate (as usual). He feels that he needs this hiatus from list monitoring to regroup, take some time for himself, and maybe get the opportunity to give himself some needed stress relief as well as personal tending. I've been telling him for years to take some time every day to get away from the computer I say we respect that, but also that we bombard his inbox. We need to let him know how much he means to us. Not only because of the informative posts about essential oils, but because of all of his personality and experienced insight into the world around us, which he has always generously shared. If you do write, please ask him to come back to us, when he feels that he can, and please let him know that he is appreciated, and all he has done for us and this country is very very much appreciated. Maybe not all of you know, but Butch has served our country long and well, and given a lot to ensure that you are able to enjoy the freedoms you do every day (freedom does not come for free!)! I salute him and all of our men and women in uniform. The world is not an ideal place to live, and he is part of a proud group of men and women throughout our history who have been willing to give their all to take care of the least ideal situations for all of us (even for those who choose to use their freedoms to insult them!). *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com nessie1_1999 [cjpearce] Sunday, December 14, 2003 12:46 PM We Want Butch Back Chris, can you give us more of a clue as to what happened, if we all sent him emails telling him what he means to us, do you think that would work? Guest guest
Chris, Very well stated. He is certainly a man to be respected and will be truly missed until he feels he can return. I know I will miss his dry humor and the glimpses he has given us into the world as he has traveled it. I hope he returns soon.
