I was having bladder problems (interstitial cystitis) and immunity problems (getting sick a lot) as well as digestive problems. I did find that the frankincense had an amazing affect on my nervous system, unlike anything I have experienced with EOs or anything else. I felt much calmer, more balanced...really a profound difference on the days after I tried it (plus more alert on arising). Regarding safety...seems that the YL people think that EOs in any amount and form of ingestion are safe. Maybe they are compared to pharmaceuticals, I don't know. You and Martin seem to have more concerns regarding safety. Some herbs have proven to be dangerous (e.g. ephedra) so I guess EOs could be as well. I have generally regarded EOs as safe relative to the various poisons of modern life (coffee, pizza, air polution, etc. etc.).
