Guest guest
Excellent post, Butch - summed it all up for many of us out here, I'm sure. I very rarely post, but read nearly every one every day. Can't say that about the other umpteen lists I'm on.... Thanks for sayin' it all, and don't ever shut up! Guest guest
Hey Chris, You are some kinda List Mom .. I gotta say that. Not many folks .. and especially young Yankee gals like you .. got the ability to be so danged diplomatic and mean it .. it comes through that you mean it .. and I'm saluting you for that. Plus .. I totally agree with what you wrote. Folks on this list are the nicest and kindest of ANY list I have EVER been a member of .. and that is a long time and a helluva lotta lists. I'm thinking that folks that have been around this list a while have seen other members when they were up and when they were down .. and we have seen great posts that we agreed with and others that set the snakes in our heads to squirming .. coming from the same poster in both cases. A Nationalist I'm not .. I doubt if the term " Nationalism " can even apply to Americans anyway .. mebbe Americanism could and we're probably unique in that regard. But I gotta agree with a lot of what was written in the post Evelyn made .. we are NOT a nation can change to the social whims of ALL of our citizens .. we must respect and accept the differences but it is not the country's duty to assimilate .. its their duty .. but the politicians do all they can to take cater to special interest groups if they think its gonna get them a few more votes .. and to hell with the state of the Nation. Anyway .. them whut knows me knows I don't keep my opinions to myself .. and I find this list to be a comfortable place for me to express myself when I want to. Them whut follows the numbers of members posted on the page for this list will see that the number has been steadily increasing since you started it .. and it continues to increase .. so I reckon my ravings aren't hurting business none. ;-p I do think .. and have said this to many folks when recommending they join this list .. that its the kindest, most tolerant, most informative list out and about .. that the areas discussed are wide in range .. as stated at the bottom of my website where I have a block for direct sign-up for Oils & Herbs .. and the personality of the list (methinks) follows that of the List Mom .. which is a good thing. I've written this before and I'll write it again now .. people willingly follow the leadership and behavior of people they like and/or respect and people they think like and/or respect them. It is far easier to pull a chain than it is to push it. So .. Evelyn .. don't sweat the small stuff cause it will all blow away like the wind .. that's the way it is on these lists. And Chris .. don't get a big head from what I wrote here cause all in all you are still a danged Yankee knucklehead gal. ;-p Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com ------------------------- > Hey Evelyn, > > No worries. Be happy!
