Lastly, Don't forget the incredible HBO series, Band of Brothers, and the book it's based on by Stephen E. Ambrose. There are more books out there but this one is particularly readable history. Not dry at all, well, not TOO dry. The series is really incredible, and did a lot to encourage my intrest in the subject. Oh I could go on. It's fascinating stuff.
