Guest guest
Okay, everyone (not everyone of course) has seen me lovely REALLY evil candles... Well, I just had this super wonder, totally brilliant idea. On the other hand it could be the stupidest idea to come down the pike... Soy candles. One of the big problems with them is that you can't have that lovely translucence with the embeds and more, but you get the goodie two shoes of a burn. So. What if... (someone is going to tell me how stupid I am, I can feel it) You made a Hurricane shell with the nasty wasty paraffin and the pretty embeds, but you filled the middle of the candle with SOY! So that when the candle burned, you're burning soy... Yes there is the residual edgety bits that might melt a little, but usually in a well done hurricane, the amount is nil to minimal... So... go on now... shoot down my balloon. ;-) Cheers! Guest guest
Sounds to me like it should work .. AND the candles will last your customers twice as long, cause soy wax burns a heckuvuh lot longer than the paraffin does Good thinking! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com WoobeyQueen [WoobeyQueen] <snipped> Soy candles.
