Guest guest
Someone must have done some complaining about the real crap that YL pushes as information so they're trying to cover their Asterix'. Still pretty slimy stuff though. ************************************************** General Guidelines in building your own website promoting YLEO: Your Independent Distributor status must be prominently displayed on each page of the website. Use only current Young Living literature to describe our product line. (The Product Guide is now available.) Product descriptions from non-YLEO sources may not be used. (This includes the EDR from Essential Science Publishing.) Symptom or disease guides cannot be provided. Third-party literature is a safe haven in our industry. Links to truthful scientific literature with disease-related information are permitted, even encouraged. Thus, Distributors may point out disease- related scientific literature without making the claim themselves. Please note that you may not reprint portions or excerpts from third- party literature. You may name the research and provide the link, or other resource, to obtain the research. Once approved Distributors may link to the official YLEO website at www.youngliving.com. The Distributors are encouraged to use the online sign-up and online ordering features at the official YLEO Website. Thus, security and order accuracy can be maintained. Testimonials Testimonials are a delicate subject in our business. When used properly they can be an amazing tool in helping to build the business. Almost any testimonial can be stated in an effective and legal manner. The following are some general guidelines: Testimonials must be factual. Testimonials must not claim to treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any disease. This includes expressed and implied claims. Avoid all references to any disease. Once Young Living (or an Independent Distributor selling the product directly to consumers) uses a testimonial relating an experience of treating a disease with the products, those products then become subject to regulation by the FDA as " drugs, " requiring government approval before they can be lawfully marketed. Testimonials should promote the " supportive " nature of the product. Testimonials about general well-being and the effects on " systems " of the body are encouraged (i.e. supports normal immune function, circulatory function, boosts energy level, etc.) Testimonials regarding the psychological or emotional affects that essential oils may have are allowed. (Note: Depression is not considered a psychological state but a disease. Therefore, no curative testimonials regarding depression may be made.) *************************************************** And a quiet 'Well DONE' for the following posted question on the Joy list (I laughed OL) Does this mean no Naturopath can call themselves Dr.? Why wouldn't they then just say " change to Gary Young, ND " ? **************************************************** Cheers!
