Long, long ago folks believed that wearing a copper bracelet helped arthritis and rheumatism and such .. now I have read where copper sulfate is supposed to be helpful for such things. Lots of " fetching warts " remedies work .. lots of applying this or that raw vegetable works .. just as lots of eating this and not eating that or avoiding these two foods in combination works even if we aren't 100% sure why they work. Likely it is that things old folks knew worked but didn't know (or give a crap) why they worked have a basis in fact. I know that the old remedy of getting a bitta hair off the dawg whut bit you works on a morning after .. but we now know why it works. ;-p My Mama (RIP) believed in the gold ring remedy and the copper bracelet remedy .. and her name was Marjorie .. folks called her Margie. Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
