Guest guest
and if it doesn't hurt, it's a skin tag. Other than cutting it off yourself, which I have done, and it's hard, cause it's So close to the eye, your eye *doctor*, can cut it off. When my doctor, NOT a person who gives only eye exams and fits you with glasses, but a real doctor of opthomology [sp?], cuts it off, they generally stay off. Guest guest
Hey Dorothy, > Hello Everyone, > I think I have a sty forming on my lower eye lid. Unfortunately, I have never thought enough in advance to have ordered any Rose Hydrosol from Butch :-( and therefore don't have any hydrosols available. A sty is an infected oil gland .. similar to a pimple. It'll go away by itself in time .. or can spread more if you burst it. If you had some pure, uncontaminated Rose Hydrosol .. twould be good .. but since you don't it might be enough to just avoid as much pain as you can while its healing itself. Warm compresses .. various and sundry herbal teas will work .. avoid dandruff if possible as that can further the problem if it falls down on the sty or the general area .. it can cause problems in other follicles. > Does anyone have any suggestions as to what they have found to be helpful to assist with healing a sty? Your suggestions will be appreciated. I have none .. but my grandma used to rub a gold ring over them. They would go away too .. in mebbe 4-5 days. My grandpa didn't believe in such stuff and refused to do it. His also went away in 4-5 days. ;-p > Dorothy Good luck .. wishing you a minimum of pain .. and keep smiling. :-) > Take Care and Talk to you soon! > Dorothy Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
