Guest guest
Hey Butch, You should also call your local carrier, probably Verizon. If it is, they used to have a thing called a " Pick Freeze " . In order for any of your carriers to be switched, you would personally have to call Verizon to authorize it. Even if someone misinterprets your " NO " for a yes, if you don't make that call to the phone company the change doesn't happen. Once one of these companies successfully slam you I think you get put on a list and then every one of them starts calling you. Don't ask how I know... Oh, and since you can have different carriers for each (local/regional/long distance) you have to have this feature put on each one. I'm not sure if they still call it a pick freeze. I didn't see anyone respond with this info. hope it helps Dawn
