Hi all,

when I was a kid some of us would get the new kid on the block and go naugie

hunting. They are a close relative of the snipe.

Now back then, they were fairly easy to find and we would skin them and make

stuff out of their skins. Being as old as I am, and having lived in the

back-of-beyond-at-the-end-of-the-road, [which is the name of our home, btw],

we made our own furniture out of it. Well, actually, we covered the wood

with their skins. it was easier than using cow hides and cheaper too.

We called this naugahyde.

Well, dear hubby has gone and tore up one of the sofas made out of the

better quality naugahyde and we need to repair it.

There are no naugies in Arizona, so we can't just go shoot us some and skin

'em.

So any ideas on how to repair sizeable holes/cuts in an upper quality

naugahyde sofa?
