My local phone service provider gave me the name and number of the company, and it only took one phone call from me, blistering, yet not cursing :-) to have them switch it back and reverse the charges. I don't make agreements on a telephone .. and I hate with a friggin passion anyone who tries to give me slick sales talks and who throws out a lot of facts and numbers .. but won't send it in writing. We have no telemarketers here in Turkey .. if we did, folks would track them down and kill them on the spot. So I'm not used to that crap. While in the USA I was handed the phone a few times by my folks in MD .. telefrigginmarketers selling this and that .. and it seems they all are into providing better phone service. They all claimed to be on the STAFF of the companies they were peddling .. and I believed NONE of them nor did I talk to them any longer than was necessary to insult them. Well .. seems a slick butt con-artist company marketer from Lightwave Communications talked to my manager in Maryland .. and Margaret made NO commitment with them .. but somehow, this weekend the a.holes managed to switch our phone service over from AT & T to them .. and not only that, but they set us up with some kind of friggin voice mail system and put a message on our phone .. and none of this was known to us. Today, Margaret tried to get it straight .. they say we owe $163.01 for the switch over .. and they said Margaret made a commitment with them so they switched our friggin system. How anybody can do this is still a great mystery to me .. but I think many things in the USA are a great mystery to me now .. and I think I will have a need for my pistol when I return to the USA because folks who try to steal from you should be shot according to my raising. I told Margaret to tell them they can DIE and go to HELL before they get that money .. and she is calling the Better Business Bureau now. I intend to get with the Federal Communications Commission because they are a slick con-artist group who is stealing from the public. My point is .. I think .. that we should not even talk to people on such crap .. I have always believed that and have always conducted myself in that manner. Send it to me in the mail or via email .. but I don't do business on the friggin phone. ;-( Watch those folks .. America is no longer safe. Maybe we have too damn much freedom. Y'all keep smiling.
