Guest guest
Hi all- I was looking at a type of butter in the store and some of the ingredients puzzled me. The tube is a thick type of lotion and I can figure out most of the types of ingredients, but it has Ethylene Glycol Monostearate which is a Surfactant I believe, Cetearyl Alcohol which is an emulsifying wax, Stearyl Alcohol ( another surfactant?), but Propylene Glycol...isn't that Antifreeze? And Sorbitol, isn't that a sweetner? and it also has Sodium Hydroxide LYE), and I am just curious as why it would have that. Anyone who has further information on these items, I would truly appreciate your input. TIA Cindy
