Guest guest
Nancy, mine is a cordless, which, while it doesn't have as much power as Steve's corded one. Mine, at 15K turns, or whatever it's called that it does, it does enough for me. When I used his, it's too much power, but thats because I'm used to using mine. Mine came with a re-chargeable. Fast is 15,000 whatevers and slow is 7500 whatevers. I think Steve's is 15K and 25K. what you can do with a dremel buff and polish rocks sand down rocks file dentures buff your wedding band cut metal with it, like making screens for windows do dog nails, if he/she will let you etch your name in things carve eggs drill little holes I imagine if you have the little hole driller LOL cut just about anything with it, if you know which tool to use [bur I think they're called] We've done the 1st five. and I still haven't used all the pieces that came with it. I reallllly wanna get my table saw out of the box and use it. I LOVE the smell of sawdust and dry cow poop. Since I have to live in Az, it would be nice to smell something familiar. <g> And we also bought a Delta grinder, to see if we can use it as a motor for grinding wheels for rocks. Ain't no fish here, gotta find something else to do til I go see Cheryl. <bg> Janine Phariss www.BlueSageNaturals.com Have pretty skin for Christmas! I has a small Miketa drill, its mine, so he hid it somewhere in the garage. >what you can do with a dremel buff and polish rocks sand down rocks file dentures buff your wedding band cut metal with it, like making screens for windows do dog nails, if he/she will let you etch your name in things carve eggs drill little holes I imagine if you have the little hole driller >LOL The dogs nails DH could do, but I would love to try the rocks, Sounds like a fun tool. Maybe I should just buy it for myself. He could then borrow it from me. Guest guest
Hey Nancy, Nah, you're not too old to do anything with the knowledge! You can *always* pass it on! Get your own dremel. For me, it's nice to have my own tools, that way I know where they are, I don't have to go looking for everything. [guess who is married to someone who doesn't put stuff away? lol] What's a miketa drill? You, Judy and Cheryl go buy your Dremels. We'll start a group for rockpolishing. Guest guest
Hi Janine, Do keep a small toolbox of my own. Just never used a power tool, well not for many years. My husband has lots of tools, except the ones he lets our son take. He also has a lot, but just not near what his father has. A Miketa I could be spelling it wrong, haven't seen one up close in years, is a cordless drill. Do have a young friend, she has helped in for years, I teach her about aromatherapy. My oldest knows a lot too. Have a Great day, in January I'm buying my dremel. LOL Hugs Nancy Nah, you're not too old to do anything with the knowledge! You can *always* pass it on!
