Guest guest
Alon: As an aside, do you palpate the channels/points using your CST training? I was trained in CST, as well as an MAOM, and it seems that I can feel the CS rhythm at the points, and they can be either in balance (oscillating laterally off the midline and longitudinally along the midline) or in a chaotic pattern. It seems that the Nei Jing mentions palpating the channels, and I wonder if this is how they did it. I sometimes use this to narrow down the choices if there are multiple possible points on a channel, or to choose a channel. Anecdotally, it seems to work. At least, my success rate using this technique is no worse than anyone else's for pain, which is primarily what I treat. -Ben Hawes, L.Ac. >______________________ >______________________ > >Message 5 > " " alonmarcus > Thu Apr 27, 2006 4:36pm(PDT) >Re: loose floating body in knee? > >Yehuda >By the way i use full scope osteopathy. Guest guest
I do all the time. I also use the primary respiratory mechanism to choose areas to treat. For example, if i see a sacral oscillation i will use head points to treat low back pain. Oakland, CA 94609 - Benjamin Hawes, L.Ac.
