Guest guest
Does anyone have any experience with patients on clomid? Could one feel secure giving herbs for balancing the menses while the patient continued the use of clomid,or should they be asked to consider stopping the clomid and taking herbs only. Thanks, J.Senko LAc.
Guest guest
Clomid is very Yang. If my patients tolerate clomid well you can treat as their pattern presents. If they don't tolerate it well, they generally need Kidney Yin tonics to compensate for the excess Yang the Clomid introduces to their system. Using other formulas to balance the menses, tonify Kidney, Spleen or Liver have not been a problem with my patients on Clomid. Just keep in mind they are on a very strong Yang tonic.
