Guest guest
You told a sad story. In my state, that kind of incident can be what the attorneys call a " license burner. Guest guest
A friend was just diagnosed with advanced metastatic cancer in his spine and pelvis. He's 36 years old. He was getting months of treatment for back pain at a CM school. I just want to remind everyone how important it is to know the signs and symptoms of life-threatening diseases and to refer to WM to rule them out. Some patients will rebel and think you're a traitor to recommend an MD. If they do, I just explain that WM has some cool tools and there's no reason not to use them, at least for diagnosis. You still have the option to choose whatever treatment suits you. Better to have a choice, before it's too late. Guest guest
Hello! As practitionners, we are not trained in all the ins and outs of Western diagnosis. But we have to be aware that if a client does not improve as we would expect after a certain number of sessions -and how do we decide how many?- it is a good idea to send them to their doctor to get things checked. Nothing as bad as what Marian desribed happened to me, but I did once give a treatment to someone who had a back pain a bit under the shoulder blade. Person felt better after the treatment. Following week pain was back. Another treatment. Improvement again. Turned out that it was a blood clot in the lungs that was causing the pain...
