Hi all,

Re: TCM terminology: My understanding of the ancient classics is that they are

pictograms, being Asian in origin, mostly Chinese I guess. One to one

correspondence with English words is impossible, given how many words a picture

is worth...! ;)

If what you said were true, studying Chinese medicine would be

hopeless. . .

 

A lot of this controversy on the classics will take a new turn when

Paul Unschuld publishes the complete Nei Jing corpus, complete with

glossaries, concordances, commentaries and explanations.
