Guest guest
Carl: O.K. so she has had a complete workup and the GYN says the " she's fine " . The patient will report that to you, but you need to determine exactly what is meant by " fine " I would personally ask for the doctor's report to see what specific tests have been done. Among others has she had a pelvic ultrasound (to see if the lining of the uterus is abnormally thickened, etc.) What is the issue with her continuing to have periods? I will repeat my question.......is she on some form of hormone replacement therapy? If the doses are high enough to bring her back to a physiologically normal pre-menopausal state, then it is not abnormal for her to have periods, however infrequent.
