I was thinking of Blood-moving herbs that do not treat bleeding at the same time, such as Tao Ren, E Zhu-and from a patient perspective it is disconcerting if the bleeding increases. Good to know that larger fibroids can shrink-this goes against what's commonly believed, but it sounds like Sharon has found the key to sucessfully treating the condition, by focusing on the bleeding. So-I have also read that when treating menstrual disorders such as fibroids with blood moving herbs, the first period is likely to be heavier and more painful as the blood stasis is addressed. I'd be interested to hear perspectives on that.
