Guest guest
Has anyone treated hyperhidrosis (excessively sweaty hands & feet) successfully with TCM? I have a patient who has had it all of her life. Some Yin Xu with Metal constitution. She is seeing my for infertility, but her sweaty hands have been a source of embarrassment her whole life and I was hoping to help her with that as well. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
I had a patient. He seemed high-strung-I used points to treat Yin deficiency and points on the Pericardium and gave him herbal treatments including astringing herbs such as wu mei, wu wei zi, wu bei zi, fu xiao miao, duan mu li (not all at the same time). Just treating with calm the spirit herbs and yin-nourishing herbs didn't seem to do it. I think he received a significant improvement after several months, and he seemd satisfied with the treatments, but it may have returned to baseline after a while. Guest guest
Chris: My first response is that with treatment over time, you will probably regulate this - by treating her pattern or CF. I would also look to the Triple Heater for regulating this sweating. Metal of course is the usual suspect.
