Hi Pete:

I have a web based email which apparently does not accept my HTML

script. Could you please post this reply on the TCM users group?

Thanks,

Hello David , Pete & Others:

Regarding lighting & tongue diagnosis, I take a digital picture in

natural light of every patient's tongue. The location is either next to

a window in the treatment room or just outside the clinic in open shade.

The photos are then uploaded to a computer where the image is more

closely studied. Progress can then be effectively charted throughout the

course of treatment.

Hope the above information is helpful.

Hi David!

Daylight varies between 4500 and 7000 Kelvin. I would try to

find as

small a light as I could that produced this color temperature

of light,

even a flashlight that you could keep in your pocket. If you find

something like that, post it to the list. I don't have one of

these, but

I have florescent lights in the room - see purple hues easily.

Regards,

Pete
