Hi,

I just joined this group because I am considering

leaving my Corporate/MBA world for TCM, so I guess it

is appropriate that I comment on the issues I've seen

with the practitioners in the Bay Area.

Get this book - The eMyth

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0887307280/ref=pd_sim_b_1/103-4609221-8834210?%\

5Fencoding=UTF8 & v=glance & n=283155

(There is one for MDs, but I haven't read it, so I'm

not willing to recommend it.)

It outlines all the mistakes one makes in trying to

grow a successful business, but isn't a book about

becoming a corporation, it is about becoming happy

doing what you do best.

I've consulted to businesses regarding many of the

issues raised in the book and came to the conclusion

that my clients should have read this book before

calling me.

Yes, TCM is healing, which in itself is a giving

practice --- but you must be able to support yourself

so that you may continue to give.

Sincerely,

Marie
