Anne, I'm using moxa on DU4 and Du6 to strengthen Kidney energy. The

Hara is very depleted.

Someone posted about increase in pubic hair along with decrease in

hair of the head. DHEAS (a testosterone metabolite I think)) and

testosterone are measured when a woman presents to an MD with

hairloss, suggesting that an endocrinological imbalance can be at the

root in some cases.

My patient doesn't present as having increased testosterone levels

though-if anything, the opposite.

Does anyone know if alopecia is associated with increased or decreased

testosterone?
