Chinese Herbal Patent Medicines, by Jake Fratkin - update? alternatives?

Hi people

 

I was using the above book (0-9626078-4-3) early this morning to check

on the GMP-status and reliability of some patents - and really came up

against the obvious fact that, being published in 2001, it was getting

out of date in some areas.

 

I've tried to find a more recent edition on the web - and there doesn't

seem to be one.

 

Does anyone know of a more recent edition? or any other equally useful

sources of info to evaluate the quality/reliability of patents? Either

online or books to buy.

 

It is a pity if Jake has not managed to keep this text updated as I've

found it's format amazingly useful.
