Guest guest
I used direct moxa tonified Kid 27 on a patient that I have treated a number of times before without incident, although this was the first time I had used Kid 27. I have used direct moxa on this lady on a number of occasions with no problems. The patient returned 7 days later and showed me 2 perfectly symmetrical scabs, only a 3-4 mm in diameter over the Kid 27 points. She had felt no pain or discomfort, but her husband had pointed out the scabbing to her. The patient has no problem with this, she just thought it was interesting. I have no explanation - does anyone have an idea? The moxa definitely did not burn/blister the skin and the needling was only 3-4 fen and straight in and out. regards Susie PS I'm really only interested in the medical aspect, not the legal one, so please don't worry about litigation advice.
