Hello,

 

Can anyone recommend an acupuncturist in the Columbus, Ohio area? This

would be for the mother of one of my patients.

 

By the way, the mother has had acupuncture and it was not a good

experience: the acupuncturist stated one price then after the

treatment told her it was higher (the lower price was only if you

prepaid for a number of treatments). The patient was also going to be

charged $12 IF music was played in the room (it had been free the first

treatment). I am assuming the music could have been a treatment

modality (?).

Hi Kathleen!

 

I recently met a dermatologist at a party who knew I was an

acupuncturist. I asked her how much to remove a skin tag from my neck.

She said $50. I called her office for an appointment. Before she even

came into the room I was told it would be at least $300. I still have

the skin tag.

 

If you answer an ad for a $10 VCR at a store they have to 1) have it and

2) sell it at the price they advertise *or* it is called " bait and

switch " . I am always disappointed to see doctors do this sort of thing.

May as well be selling tires for heaven's sake.
