Dear Vet Colleagues,

Dr. Allen Schoen, DVM [ http://www.drschoen.com ], asked me to notify you of an

upcoming seminar: " Veterinarians in Transition " , a workshop at the Hollyhock

Retreat Center in Canada, May 31 to June 4, 2006.

The Workshop is for vets currently in practice, or considering career

transitions.

The program involves a stay of 4 nights. It will focus on the integration of

techniques

and scientific research in Mind-Body Medicine into veterinary practice and

management. It is designed for vets who seek renewed personal and professional

meaning, as well as those in career transitions. It is an opportunity to

reflect, redefine

and create a new vision of animal healing with support and insights from

colleagues.

The workshop will include lectures, group discussions and exercises to practice

different techniques. It allows free time to experience the many health and

relaxation

options that Hollyhock offers. Spouses/partners are welcome.

A similar Hollyhock conference for human physicians, " Doctors in Transition " ,

will run

concurrently. There will be opportunities for vets and medics to interact and

learn

from each other.

Contact: http://www.hollyhock.ca for registration or more information, or email:

<schoen-office if you have specific questions regarding the workshop.

Please do NOT send queries to the List.

Best regards,
