I have tried that; it works fine on unlocked PDF files but I failed to get it

to work on " locked " PDF files, such as:

www.ihp.sinica.edu.tw/~medicine/ashm/lectures/paper/paper22.pdf

 

Steve, please try to copy text from THAT file and email me off-list if you

succeed!

Phil,

 

You are correct about locked files. I couldn't copy text from that file.

After your original message on the subject, I tried copying from about

20 different downloaded pdf files and had no problem. I spoke too

soon... :-)
