Cadaver dissection course for acupuncturists.

Hi,

In 2001 when I first started TCM school there was an advertisement in

AcupunctureToday for a 6 day dissection course aimed at

acupuncturists. I called at the time and was told that I needed to

be a LicAc therefore I was SOL. Dang.

I wholeheartedly feel that one area missing in the US TCM education

is an in-depth cadaver course. I know it would make me a better

practitioner.

Does anyone know of such a course? If it were overseas (I'm in

Boston) I'd go if it were at least a week long class.

If no course what about videos/DVDs? I have that great (UK??)

anatomy video, but it doesn't tell me about needle depths, what I'm

feeling, can you really break through that artery? etc...

(I've googled till my fingers giggled so figured I'd post the

question to this forum)

best regards,

George

Hi George - would it be possible to give details of the anatomy

video you mentioned?

Thanks,

Tom.

Tom,

Acland's Human Anatomy videos. They are great for learning anatomy.

My school library has them and I'm sure others do as well.

Here is a site for reference:
