Guest guest
Hi, I've been so many doctors and no one has really been able to give me a definitive dx about this condition that affects my fingers and toes in cold, damp weather, though I've been told it could be Raynaud's syndrome. My fingers get swollen, itchy and cold. My toes as well. I can't seem to regulate the heat in my body, whereas a normal body would be able to warm itself, mine cannot. Some parts are actually ice cold. I am wondering if this could be a triple warmer imbalance or block. If anyone could ~please~ help. It's getting very difficult for me to walk as under my toes it has become quite painful. Conventional medicine can't offer me anything. I am so grateful to have found this place. Best wishes, joy
Guest guest
Dear Joy , I guess it is Reynaud`s syndrome. it is a transient ,intermittent spasm of small arteries in response to cold & emotional stress. First you should have a throughout physical examination by an internist to rule out more than 20 diseases which have Reynaud`s phenomenon in their manifestations .Of course most of them are benign .Heavy metal & vinyl chloride exposure , cigarret & coffee have aggravating effects. If drugs are not effective you can do acupuncture . it is very effective and I had similar patients which improved by acupuncture. So find an acupuncturist & go ahead. tell me it`s result. warm regards.
