Guest guest
I own several books that present information from both TCM and Western perspective: Maciocia's The Practice of Bob Flaws & Philippe Sioneau's The Treatment of Modern Western Diseases with Tietao Deng's Practical Diagnosis in Traditional (has a section that uses Western condition names such as insomnia, diarrhea, lumbar pain....) All three are basically reference books. Of course there are others, and I'm not really in a position to recommend one over another. Just to say I find all of them helpful as references and study sources. Hope this answers what you were asking.... ---RoseAnne S.
Guest guest
Thanks RoseAnne! As I said, I am more looking for a small pocket guide type book if something like that is available. If not then I'm sure Bob Flaws might come up with one sometime ;-) Mario Chinese Medicine , ra6151@a... wrote: > > I own several books that present information from both TCM and Western > perspective: > > Maciocia's The Practice of > Bob Flaws & Philippe Sioneau's The Treatment of Modern Western Diseases with > > Tietao Deng's Practical Diagnosis in Traditional (has a > section that uses Western condition names such as insomnia, diarrhea, lumbar > pain....) > > All three are basically reference books. Guest guest
I'm a fan of Close to the Bone. It is focused on pain but if you are treating anything else I would think the western diagnosis is not that helpful. bob www.acuherbals.com ra6151 wrote: I own several books that present information from both TCM and Western perspective: Maciocia's The Practice of Bob Flaws & Philippe Sioneau's The Treatment of Modern Western Diseases with Tietao Deng's Practical Diagnosis in Traditional (has a section that uses Western condition names such as insomnia, diarrhea, lumbar pain....)
