Patent formulas and unscrupulous vendors..a cookie cutter approach?

Hello everyone...

A quick perspective on these topics.

I have been slowly gaining an opinion on a wide subject matter that

includes all these topics, I believe.

Patent formulas, unscrupulous vendors selling harmful pharma instead

of herbs, and the FDA and other regulating entities and their agendas.

The problem is centralization. The problem is that people are LAZY.

The problem is that we've been raised to have someone else tell us

what to do, tell us what's right. The problem is that we would rather

spend less no matter where the product comes from. Globalization has

disempowered the small community to a very large degree.

Companies in China are rarely seen caring about the products they

produce. China is somewhere around the #1 exporter of counterfeit

goods. Counterfeit products that I have seen being sold in other

countries and produced by China have been dangerous, poor quality, and

generally harmful to use.

The Chinese who produce these goods only care if it sells. They don't

care if someone will trace the product back to their company. There's

no accountability. Produce it cheap and make the factory owner some

money. That's it.

To me it's ok if those products get blocked from import. Time has

shown that the products blocked from import will be produced on our

own soil. This issue with patent formulas...who knows what you're

getting! How do you know the owner of the factory didn't have some

almost toxic waste and put it into the formula for ? How do you know

those formulas aren't made in rat and cockroach infested factories?

You don't.

How do you know those imported fruits you buy at the supermarket don't

have MSG sprayed on them(which they have started doing)? How do you

know if there's BGH in that milk?

There's only one way to know: produce it yourself or buy within your

community. That's how we will keep the Chinese from importing our

money and selling us fakes.

IF they make these formulas unavailable that we use, the industrious

will be the one to win. We can put together our own formulas. It's

about empowering the people, people.

Big corporations are raking in all the money and shipping it off to

their home countries, while our countries are dealing with record

trade deficits.

Believe it or not it starts with you the doctor. It starts with you

the consumer. It starts with you the importer.

What we need in this field is chinese herbalists to carry raw herbs

and not just a bunch of formulas made by some company in china.

In conclusion, I believe too many people rely on someone else to make

them healthy. This is, afterall, the goal of western medicine. We

need to learn how to heal ourselves again as a whole. We can start by

taking things into ur own hands.

As doctors and future doctors, we can make the difference. We can

start by donating a little of our time to teaching the patients how to

treat themselves, or at least letting them know when they can and

giving them the choice.

This is how we can make the difference.

Are you suggesting people do something like buying

a share of a CSA farm that grows the herbs used in

Chinese herbal traditions?

Does the CSA industry even know there's a market

for this kind of produce?
