point injections -- real injections!

Folks:

 

Last night I was talking to a friend who's studying

'TCM Orthopedics " @ the Chengdu UTCM & she remarked

that one of her teachers was using injections of

honghua & dan shen into the femoral head for avascular

bone necrosis. From her description, I think the

doctor is injecting into the periosteum. (Another

thing I'll never do in the States..)
