Guest guest
Dear List Members, One of my students injects himself with insulin into the abdomen. Has anyone thought about a sequence for these injections? Should he circulate from ST 25 (right) to CV 12 back to ST 25 (left) then down to CV 6? Could he gradually build authority in the central burner/ pancreas/ islets of Langerhans by some pattern -- given that he's already doing the injecting day after day? I would only risk raising the issue with the parents, doctors, etc. if there were reason to do so. His parents say he does well with his regimen, but this is 12-13 years old. In the late teens and twenties this becomes more trying. Carl Ploss Teacher, AMSACS Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School, Marlborough MA.
