i am completing my first insurance credentialing

app, 7 yrs into practice. 2 challenges i have

encountered: 1.i have been a rather reclusive

professional.i left the state org a couple yrs

ago b/c i strongly disagree w/their (external)

politics.well, now i need 3 *peer* references.

2.of course, they have this *fixed location* rule

for practices.i have an exclusively mobile

practice. So i have *no* fixed place of biz!

Heavens, any clues to resolution? P.s. Who all

are peers? lynn

Claim your home as your office location or call them and ask what you should

do. Make sure you explain to them that you do not fit into their zip code

model of permanent office locales. Hope this helps. Later

Hi J. Lynn!

Your peers are other TCM doctors, you find them in the state org. You

could join AOMNC, but there may not be any other Alaska folks in it. It

is a little hard to connect with AOMNC folks right now because the web

site is having problems. <http://www.aomnc.com/>

You could also ask your school to give you 3 peer references. They

should oblige you in that, how much did they make off of you in tuition?

Rent a small office and set up a little treatment room. You can still do

outcalls, just keep your suitcase in your office when you aren't on a call.

My office is 103 square feet, so it can be done. I do *no* outcalls, too

old for that! Some people set up offices in their homes, is this allowed

by your authorities?

Regards,

Pete
