Atillio, Mark:

Could I please get your help on this. I recently switched from

individual messages to digest (to help my addiction with email).

Can you tell my how to reply to just one message in the digest.

Also I have a local folder (labeled by western condition) where I put

various email on a particlar topic, e.g. cancer. How can I paste just

one email in the digest into this folder?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Anne,

I am not sure if there is a way to do this other than to just cut and paste

your response to individual messages, or you can respond to them through the

web forum on .

Can you tell my how to reply to just one message in the digest.

Attilio: You'll have to cut out all the other messages that don't apply to

the message you are responding to. Please make sure you change the subject

title as well.

Attilio: This is a bit more tricky. You can't paste part of the digest into

a folder. What you'll have to do it reply to the message, cut out the TCM

group's email address, add you own email address and cut out the messages

you don't want to keep. Also make sure you change the subject to something

that will help you retrieve it later, for filling purposes. Then as you've

sent the message to yourself, when it comes, file it in the folder you need.

Another approach is to set your subscription to " no mail "

and read everything at the web site

<http://health.Chinese Medicine/>

and/or respond to individual postings from there.

This works well if you have a fast connection.

This also fixes the problem of one's mail box filling up

when too busy to read and empty it.

For simplicity,

I've bookmarked my account address.

It lists all the groups I'm subscibed to at .

If someone posts something that I really want to keep,

I forward it from the website to one of my own addresses.

Put the cursor on the start of the text that you want to copy, and drag

cursor (with Shift key pressed) to the end of the desired text.

Press Ctrl C (copy text).

Open a new mail and drop the text in there by Ctrl V [paste copied text].

Edit and amend as desired, snd send to the List address.

Extract the desired text, as above, and drop it into a new mail,

addressed to yourself. You can then file that mail wherever you wish.
