video needling technique

Hi all,

 

here's a video of (I believe) Sheng Can-ruo demonstrating " penetrating

needling " (point to point needling).

I have seen prof. Sheng work in Nanjing's provincial hospital- he only goes

to work in the morning but sees about 30 patients in that time span- and he

often uses long needles, e.g. for treating sciatic pain he would insert the

needle at Cheng Fu Bl 36 along the course of the Bladder meridian.

Prof. Sheng's hand techniques are incredible. Insertion and manipulation is

very fast. He still teaches some courses at Nanjing uni of TCM. Not really

visible from the video, because he's using very long needles in the video.
