Dear Gabrielle,

Can you in good faith look someone in the eyes and say " I am

confident that I can cure your condition if you will take my

prescriptions for 2 (3/6/12) month " ? I doubt that. The prognosis is

not a strongest feature of TCM, which I know may soud like a bad

thing but it is not. It's just the way it is.However,in the world

where the mainstream medicine is strongly " prognosis oriented " ,

vague " accountability " of TCM treatment protocols could become

rather confidence stretching both for the practitioner and the

patient. Couldn't that be the cause of all practice building

problems?

Sincerely,

Ed Mizun

Hi Ed!

We aren't allowed to make any " cure " claims in our state. Too bad.

The few patients who *do* see me for treatments fairly leap off my

table, feeling much, much better with only one treatment. Feeling so

much better that they don't need to come back.

Ability and confidence are not issues that trouble me. Marketing is my

problem.

Regards,

Pete
