In Texas, a recent law (Sept 2005)by legislature mandates that if an

insurance company covers acupuncture by physician it must also cover

acupuncture by a licensed acupuncturist. Somebody forgot to tell

United Health though. Since they cover a very limited amount of

conditions (post-op nauseau, osteoarthritis of the knee or hip) I let

it slide.

 

It will take time, folks. The insurance system is barely navigational

even for those who chose exclusively allopathic medicine.
