Those that help patients have a good medical practice. Some have both, some neither. doug > > " Robert L. Felt " <bob > Survey Confusion > and all, > > > I am not so sure about that. I think most people in this field are better at TCM than they are at marketing and business management, myself included. Bob: That may be true generally. Marketing and building a successful practice require a different set of skills than the actual treatment regimen. Consider the amount of space devoted to building a practice and its management in Chiropractic literature; it seems quite high. But then these are still the early days of the CM profession in America. Jim Ramholz
Guest guest
Gee, Mr. Theisen, I wonder why you have trouble attracting patients. Perhaps spending a little time - oh, say, ten years or so - meditating in front of a mirror may be salutory. -Ben Hawes, L.Ac. > >Message: 5 > Sun, 23 Oct 2005 19:12:03 -0700 > Nora <nora >Re: demographics > >Pete Theisen wrote: > > > >>Well, don't think me a saint or a philosopher, I am a religious >>conservative myself and the homophobic problem would follow me anywhere. >>Everyone thinks I am gay as it is, the last thing I want to do is move >>to somewhere where there are even more homos than there are in Sarasota, >>it would seem to be jumping out of the pan into the fire. >> >> > > >Pete and All, > >I must say, the mind reels at the above paragraph. Guest guest
Comments like this are TOTALLY unhelpful Ben. Is this the kind of thing you suggest to you patients? Didn't anyone teach you tact? Warm regards, Attilio D'Alberto Doctor of (Beijing, China) B.Sc. (Hons) T.C.M., M.A.T.C.M.
