I just love my Braun handblender, but I don't use it for soapmaking.....

but for making pesto on the road, at friends' houses, etc. Sure beats lugging

the Robot Coupe and is easier than in the mortar and pestle.

Currently, Sam's Club has a good deal for about $35.00usd with all the

bells and whistle. Big Lots has a brand X for about $10.00. Or, you can go the

infomercial route with the Thunderstick Pro for about $60.00. These units can

vary in rpms and wattage.
