Guest guest
How about a condition seemingly opposite: In winter months, hardening of the palmar skin on a couple of distal digits. To the point that the skin splits, down to where it bleeds; s/t painful. First the right thumb one year. Starting on the left index finger (as well as continuing on the rt 1st) the second year. On the lt index, also dry, s/t subtle scaliness into the middle digit. Responds to hot water soaks, with epsom salts or vinegar. Any ideas? Hi Chris! The *first* thing I would try would be hand lotion, followed the same day by a humidifier. Winter heating dries out the air and causes dry skin. Guest guest
Karen, Is the fish oil taken internally, or applied externally? Does it matter what kind of fish oil? ktarnower wrote: I have seen cracked feet vastly improved with the addition of fish oil.
