Guest guest
I have been asked to give a chat to a self-help group for people suffering from faecal incontinence. To be honest, it is not something I have come across in my practice nor have I ever given much thought to it in terms of Traditional . I would be really interested and grateful if any one has any information on this from a TCM perspective, including any recommended literature. I imagine that a weakened Spleen energy would be involved. Thanks very much, Ann Brownbill.
Guest guest
Hi Ann, I have seen this. Not only have I seen this involve spleen, but also kidney - unable to keep the gates shut. Spleen and Kidney Qi and/or Yang deficiency. Usually frequent, watery stools. aebrownbill wrote: I have been asked to give a chat to a self-help group for people suffering from faecal incontinence.
