Dr. Mike Smith, founder of NADA, has said that the NADA Protocol is

" non-verbal " . This has nothing to do with informed consent. All folks who

have Detox Acupuncture Treatment at Lincoln Recovery, Dr. Smith's clinic,

sign informed consent forms.

Dr. Smith describes Detox Acupuncture as non verbal therapy, as opposed to

talk therapy, group therapy and AA, which are all verbal therapies.

To Pete,

 

I received the email regarding " Acupuncture Without

Borders " from my school's alumni list, and also had

the same semantic problems you do with the

" non-verbal " insinuation for consent to NADA

treatment.

 

As I was not the author of such document, I will not

attempt to clarify their point. My apologies for

confusing the this list's readership.

 

Just thought I would pass along an alternative to

donating money, to those who might be also able to

donate their time.
