Guest guest
Hi All, especially LInda, Susan and Colleagues in USA, I had intended writing sooner, but did not get the chance until now. The devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in the southern United States (esp Alabama, Louisiana & Mississippi) was awful. The immensity of the destruction, and the numbers of dead, injured and homeless are stunning. I hope that US colleagues have lost no loved ones in this tragedy, and I pray for those affected by it. Colleagues who with to send help or money to support the hurricane victims may contact any US Charity, or the American Red Cross [ http://www.redcross.org/ ]. Colleagues who would like to support animal rescue and care may want to volunteer assistance [contact Dr. David Senior at the School of Veterinary Medicine at 225-578-9551 or <dsenior. Non-veterinary volunteers can contact the School of Veterinary Medicine at 225-578-9900. Events like Katrina and the Tsunami (some months ago) are sobering reminders that we, humans, are not as much in control as we would like to think. May God Bless and Protect you all, Best regards, Tel: (H): +353-(0) or (M): +353-(0) Ireland. Tel: (W): +353-(0) or (M): +353-(0) " Man who says it can't be done should not interrupt man doing it " - Chinese Proverb
