Is it the AVICENNA Laser [ http://www.avicennalaser.com/ or http://www.laserles.com/LaserTherapy%20Intro%20Letter.htm ] Class 4 laser? That one has a colossal 7.5 W output, as compared with the 150- 750mW output of the best of the Class 3 opposition! The manufacturers claim a 10cm penetration depth vs 1-3cm penetration by most other lasers? Price? Laser does not penetrate the body more effectively than any other light. Also laser light disperses as soon as it hits the skin. A longer wavelength does penetrate a little better but does not need to be a laser. According to NASA the Bails photonic stimulator (400mw 880nm LED not a laser)also penetrates about 10cm. There is a huge drop in energy for every mm of penetration in both laser and LEDs. Phil wouldn't you love to play with that laser? A lot of money however. We now also have one stimulator that has nine clusters in three groups that can rap around a joint. The total power for that one is 11 watts.
