Vaccinations

Hi all,

Whilst having my last vaccination for Hep B, when they actually injected the

substance into my arm, I suddenly had a bitter taste secreted into my mouth.

Vaccinations do not have to go through normal first-pass metabolism via the

liver when digested, but could they be possibly going via the 'energetic'

aspect of the liver?

Any one got any ideas on that?

Warm regards,

pain relief with paediatric injections

Hi all

While building up my acupuncture practice I continue to work as a

practice nurse mainly doing childhood vaccinations, the single

equivalents of the MMR.Age 2-5. I am principally using thigh and upper

arm for subcut injections. Can any of you think of points to use

acupressure on just before the jab which may ease the pain/stinging.It

would need to be a point that is not too tender to touch or they'll run

before I get my nedle out!!The point would also need to be easily

accessable.

Any thoughts??

Thanks in advance

Sharon
